RAPPER LL COOL J SIGNS SEVEN FIGURE DEAL WITH CBS

 

Rapper LL Cool J has reportedly signed a seven-figure deal with CBS to develop his own television series.

 

According to published reports, the rapper was courted by several networks following a strong appearance on FOX's "House" in the fall of 2005. The series, which has yet to be titled, will mark his return to network television. The rapper/actor had previously starred in NBC's "In the House." The series was later moved to UPN and aired from 1995 to 1999.

 

In other LL news, the rapper is presently headlining his own nationwide tour in support of his latest album, Todd Smith. The tour kicked off June 23rd in Washington, DC. and is slated to conclude August 19th in New York's Randall Island.
