RAPPER WALE TEAMS RICK ROSS

 

2.7.11 ---- DC rapper Wale ended months of speculation when he took to Twitter this weekend (February 5th) and confirmed that he has finally signed with Ross' imprint, after reports originally surfaced that he was heading to Maybach Music.

According Wale he will still be managed by Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label/management company.

"The music wont change..the energy will," Wale tweeted. "Can't wait till y'all hear the new music."

Wale was originally signed to Mark Ronson's Allido Records imprint, which distributed the rapper's album Attention Deficit via a deal with Interscope Records.

Rick Ross is also reportedly in the final stages of inking rising Philly rapper Meek Mill to Maybach Music as well.
